The University-wide Commencement Ceremony of The University of Texas at Austin is held each spring to mark the completion of another academic year in the life of the institution and to celebrate the cumulative accomplishment of a distinguished community of scholars — graduates of The University of Texas at Austin — as they transition from students to alumni.
